The amenities and unit is really really nice. I enjoy my 1-bedroom so much.

The maintenance staff are friendly and work fast even during holidays. However, the application process is a bit slow in my opinion. I did not get any updates about the application status unless I emailed or called the management. I also feel like I pay so many fees so many times (more than 2). It's kind of frustrating and tiring. Other apartments are not like this.

The fitness is nice. I just wish they had a Smith... machine there. The clubhouse is nice as well.

We moved in July 18th, and so far it's been ok, a few hiccups. Would have loved to have laundry within our unit, but maybe down the road we'll upgrade and get a nicer unit.

Search live active!! They changed the name for a reason

Live Active or as they have rebranded The Grove at Mankato, is a complex that only has one to two good apartment buildings. After that you can find apartment buildings that are decaying, poorly maintained, and not sanitary. There's several reports of black mold found in several apartments, flooding happening in my specific apartment and just overall poor management. They probably needed to change the name to get more people in because their original Google star ratings is at about 2/5. If you're... down for paying a little bit more than what you get then you would love living here. Not recommended unless you have to live here.

Anytime I've called in to have certain things taken care of I am told that it'll be fixed and nothing's ever done. Oftentimes I'm hung up on or told that I need to stop complaining. If that's what you want to landlord then this place is perfect. They've responded to reviews and say they'll get back to people but they never do and they don't fix their problems.
